Van Cleef & Arpels was founded following the marriage of Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels, and opened at Place Vendôme in Paris in 1906. In 1935 the house introduced the Cadenas watch, and it is also known for Poetic Complications such as the Lady Arpels Pont des Amoureux.
