Stopped or irregular movement
A stopped watch, noticeable time deviation or malfunctioning complication requires inspection before the appropriate repair or servicing route can be confirmed.
Independent watch care · Dubai
Independent, inspection-led Patek Philippe watch repair and servicing in Dubai for Nautilus, Aquanaut, Calatrava, annual calendar and vintage references.
Patek Philippe watches require a careful initial assessment because movement complexity, case material, dial condition, previous work, originality and parts availability can influence the appropriate service route. We receive enquiries concerning Nautilus, Aquanaut, Calatrava, annual calendar and vintage or inherited references.
At our shop in Deira Gold Souk, we review the visible condition, winding and setting functions, timekeeping symptoms, calendar or chronograph operation where applicable, service history, previous refinishing, bracelet or strap condition and available papers before recommending repair, servicing, restoration, authentication, condition assessment or a parts request.
Typical timing is confirmed after inspection. An initial inspection is always free and usually takes about 30 minutes. If accurate diagnosis requires opening the watch or disassembling components, we explain the separate paid technical assessment before proceeding. General service typically involves about one working day for the work followed by two days of evaluation and testing; polishing usually takes one to three working days. Fault complexity and original-part availability can extend these timings.
Nautilus provides a one-year warranty on workmanship it performs. The warranty does not cover customer misuse, accidental or personal damage, or a new technical fault unrelated to the original work. It covers our workmanship and is not an authenticity guarantee.
What we inspect
Common requests
A stopped watch, noticeable time deviation or malfunctioning complication requires inspection before the appropriate repair or servicing route can be confirmed.
Brushed, polished and precious-metal surfaces should be assessed carefully before refinishing, polishing or part replacement is discussed.
For older pieces, preserving originality and character may be more important than achieving cosmetic perfection. Previous work, available papers and replacement components should be reviewed before recommendations are made.
