About this service

Whether your Rolex has stopped, is gaining or losing time, has suffered possible water exposure, or needs attention to the crown, bracelet, clasp, crystal or case, the first step is identifying the model, reference number and symptoms. We receive enquiries relating to Submariner, Datejust, GMT-Master II, Daytona and vintage Rolex references.

At our Deira Gold Souk shop, we inspect the visible condition, winding and setting functions, timekeeping symptoms, service history, moisture risk, bracelet and clasp condition, and any supporting papers before recommending the appropriate repair or servicing route.

Typical timing is confirmed after inspection. An initial inspection is always free and usually takes about 30 minutes. If accurate diagnosis requires opening the watch or disassembling components, we explain the separate paid technical assessment before proceeding. General service typically involves about one working day for the work followed by two days of evaluation and testing; polishing usually takes one to three working days. Fault complexity and original-part availability can extend these timings.

Nautilus provides a one-year warranty on workmanship it performs. The warranty does not cover customer misuse, accidental or personal damage, or a new technical fault unrelated to the original work. It covers our workmanship and is not an authenticity guarantee.

Common requests

Common issues we handle

Stopped, slow or fast movement

A stopped watch or noticeable time deviation requires movement inspection before the appropriate repair or servicing route can be confirmed.

Crown, winding or water exposure

If water exposure is suspected, avoid winding, setting or operating the crown and arrange an inspection as soon as possible.

Bracelet, clasp, crystal or case damage

Bracelet wear, clasp security and exterior damage should be assessed carefully before polishing, adjustment or part replacement is discussed.

FAQs

Questions collectors ask

Is Nautilus affiliated with Rolex?

No. Nautilus is an independent luxury watch specialist and is not affiliated with, or authorized by, Rolex.

Can you quote a repair price before inspection?

No. Exact pricing and repair time are confirmed only after physical inspection at the boutique.

Should I include the reference number?

Yes. The reference number helps the specialist understand the exact model and possible parts or service path.

Can photos replace an inspection?

No. Photos help us prepare, but final repair advice requires the watch to be inspected in person.

How long do inspection, servicing and polishing usually take?

The free initial inspection usually takes about 30 minutes. If opening or disassembly is required, a separate paid technical assessment is explained first. General service typically involves about one working day for the work plus two days of evaluation and testing. Polishing usually takes one to three working days. Exact timing depends on the fault and original-part availability and is confirmed after inspection.

Does Nautilus provide a warranty on repair work?

Yes. Nautilus provides a one-year warranty on workmanship it performs. It does not cover customer misuse, accidental or personal damage, or a new unrelated technical fault. The warranty covers our workmanship; it is not an authenticity guarantee.
