Quartz battery or movement fault
A stopped quartz Cartier may need a battery, a seal review, or movement diagnosis — confirmed only at inspection.
Independent watch care · Dubai
Inspection-led Cartier repair and service guidance for Santos, Tank, Ballon Bleu, and Panthère in Dubai.
A Cartier repair request becomes clearer with the model and reference. Clients often contact Nautilus about Santos de Cartier, Tank (Must, Solo, Américaine, Française), Ballon Bleu, and Panthère pieces in both quartz and mechanical versions.
Our boutique reviews case and bracelet condition, the crown and its synthetic sapphire cabochon, movement type, battery or service history, and what you share through Repair Doctor or WhatsApp.
Typical timing is confirmed after inspection. An initial inspection is always free and usually takes about 30 minutes. If accurate diagnosis requires opening the watch or disassembling components, we explain the separate paid technical assessment before proceeding. General service typically involves about one working day for the work followed by two days of evaluation and testing; polishing usually takes one to three working days. Fault complexity and original-part availability can extend these timings.
Nautilus provides a one-year warranty on workmanship it performs. The warranty does not cover customer misuse, accidental or personal damage, or a new technical fault unrelated to the original work. It covers our workmanship and is not an authenticity guarantee.

FAQs
Nautilus provides independent inspection and repair guidance for Cartier watches. This allows the scope, preservation priorities and cosmetic choices to be discussed directly, but Nautilus is not affiliated with or authorised by Cartier. Work outside the manufacturer network may affect an active manufacturer warranty.
The quotation follows physical inspection of the specific watch. The specialist considers the movement, case, crown, crystal, seals, visible condition, previous work and any parts required, then explains the proposed scope. Photographs and the reference number help us prepare but cannot replace that inspection.
A depleted battery is common, but a quartz watch that stops again after a battery change may have a circuit, coil, contact or movement fault. Avoid repeated battery changes without diagnosis. Bring the watch and its reference number so the movement and case condition can be assessed together.
Nautilus can review repair enquiries across Cartier collections, subject to the exact reference, movement and parts availability. Send the model and reference number before visiting. Final repair advice, timing and price follow physical inspection, and the specialist will say when the manufacturer network is the more appropriate route.
The free initial inspection usually takes about 30 minutes. If opening or disassembly is required, a separate paid technical assessment is explained first. General service typically involves about one working day for the work plus two days of evaluation and testing. Polishing usually takes one to three working days. Exact timing depends on the fault and original-part availability and is confirmed after inspection.
