Stopped, slow or fast movement
A stopped watch or noticeable time deviation requires movement inspection before the correct repair or servicing route can be confirmed.
Independent watch care · Dubai
Independent, inspection-led Audemars Piguet watch repair and servicing in Dubai for Royal Oak, Royal Oak Offshore and other modern or vintage references.
Audemars Piguet watches require careful assessment because case geometry, bezel edges, exposed screws, integrated bracelets and alternating brushed and polished surfaces can be affected by inappropriate handling or excessive refinishing. We receive enquiries concerning Royal Oak, Royal Oak Offshore, chronograph and vintage references.
At our shop in Deira Gold Souk, we review the model and reference number, visible condition, winding and setting functions, timekeeping symptoms, chronograph or date operation where applicable, bracelet and clasp condition, previous polishing, service history and available papers before recommending repair, servicing, polishing review, restoration, authentication or a parts request.
Typical timing is confirmed after inspection. An initial inspection is always free and usually takes about 30 minutes. If accurate diagnosis requires opening the watch or disassembling components, we explain the separate paid technical assessment before proceeding. General service typically involves about one working day for the work followed by two days of evaluation and testing; polishing usually takes one to three working days. Fault complexity and original-part availability can extend these timings.
Nautilus provides a one-year warranty on workmanship it performs. The warranty does not cover customer misuse, accidental or personal damage, or a new technical fault unrelated to the original work. It covers our workmanship and is not an authenticity guarantee.
What we inspect
Common requests
A stopped watch or noticeable time deviation requires movement inspection before the correct repair or servicing route can be confirmed.
The sharp geometry and alternating brushed and polished surfaces should be carefully assessed before polishing or refinishing is considered. Polishing is not treated as an automatic recommendation.
Loose screws, worn links, bracelet misalignment or clasp problems should be physically inspected before adjustment or replacement parts are discussed.
Functions that do not start, reset, change or operate correctly require hands-on diagnosis before repair scope and timing can be estimated.
