A clock that has stopped
A clock that no longer runs, or stops after a short time, is inspected first so the cause can be identified before any repair is proposed.
Independent watch care · Dubai
Inspection, servicing and repair of wall clocks, table clocks and antique clocks at our Gold Souk workshop.
Wall clocks, table clocks and antique clocks inspected and repaired by an independent workshop in Deira Gold Souk, Dubai.
Nautilus Dubai repairs and services clocks as well as watches. Our Gold Souk workshop accepts wall clocks, table clocks and antique clocks, and every job begins with a free initial inspection so you know what the clock needs before any work is agreed.
We aim to keep a clock's original components wherever they can be preserved or repaired. When a part cannot be saved, we can look for a suitable original replacement, subject to the clock and to availability, and we explain the options before going further.
Large or delicate clocks do not always travel easily. Collection and delivery can be arranged on request for a modest fee that depends on the clock and what moving it involves.
What we inspect
Common requests
A clock that no longer runs, or stops after a short time, is inspected first so the cause can be identified before any repair is proposed.
Timekeeping that drifts can have several causes. We assess the movement and explain what servicing or repair would involve.
Older clocks are handled with care for their original parts. Where a component can be repaired rather than replaced, that is our first choice.
Knocks and breakage are noted at inspection. We explain what can be repaired and whether a suitable replacement part can be sourced.
Our process
Step 1
Send a message or photos, or bring the clock to Shop 15 at One Deira Mall, Gold Souk. Collection can be arranged on request.
Step 2
About 30 minutes for a first assessment. If the movement must be opened for a diagnosis, we ask before any paid technical assessment.
Step 3
You receive our findings and the proposed work before anything proceeds. Timing is confirmed after inspection and depends on the fault and on parts.
Step 4
The clock's condition is recorded with photographs and written notes at intake and at return, and shared with you.

FAQs
Yes. Our workshop inspects, services and repairs wall clocks, table clocks and antique clocks, as well as wristwatches and pocket watches.
The initial inspection is free and normally takes about 30 minutes. If the movement has to be opened or parts disassembled to find the fault, that is a separate paid technical assessment, and we tell you before it proceeds.
Collection and delivery can be arranged on request. A modest fee applies, depending on the clock and what moving it involves.
It depends on the fault and on whether parts are needed. We confirm the expected timing after the inspection rather than promising a fixed date in advance.
Work carried out by Nautilus has a one-year workmanship warranty. It does not cover misuse, accidental or personal damage, or a new unrelated fault.
