Rolex Day-Date 18388 Sultan Qaboos Emblem – 1991, 36 mm Yellow Gold

This Rolex Day-Date (ref. 18388) is available at Nautilus Dubai in Dubai's Gold Souk. The Day-Date, introduced in 1956, was the first wristwatch to show both the date and the day of the week spelled out in full, and it is made only in precious metals.

This example has a 36 mm case in yellow gold, a blue dial and an automatic (self-winding) movement. Dating from 1991, it belongs to our vintage selection. It is recorded in new condition, with box and papers.

The Sultan Qaboos emblem is engraved on the caseback. The watch is cased in 18k yellow gold, 36 mm, with a blue dial and diamond-set hour markers. Dating from 1991, it has been carefully stored and is described as in brand-new condition, complete with its original accessories and documentation.
