About Movado
Movado was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1881 by Achille Ditesheim. Its name comes from Esperanto and means 'always in motion'. In 1947, Nathan George Horwitt designed the Museum Watch dial, a design that remains closely associated with Movado.
